I’m Élodie Eucar, a French-Caribbean fashion designer and stylist, and my work is an exploration of memory and modernity.
Born and raised in Martinique until the age of 18 before moving to France for my studies, I have always navigated between two worlds—an experience shared by many from the overseas territories.
This duality, between deep-rooted heritage and immersion in a new cultural landscape, shapes my creative vision. Inspired by the patterns, colors, and mythological narratives of my Caribbean roots, I merge tradition and contemporary design in my work. My approach also embraces new modes of creation, focusing on upcycling, bio-based materials, and responsible sourcing. Blending textile sculpture, experimentation, and influences from architecture and the ocean, my work is an invitation to explore the balance between two identities.
